Kristen Norman is a Pilates Instructor from Capistrano Beach. As a passionate Dancer from childhood through her teens she had dreams of a professional career in dance- although the path she took did not lead there- Kristen had worked in the Financial industry many years prior to teaching- during this time she stayed healthy and fit through all forms of vigorous exercise but it wasn’t until she found Pilates that she discovered the passion that she once experienced as a child through dance. The mind body connection the practice brought found her finding balance and new found passion in life.
When she was introduced to Reformer Pilates years ago she had a instant connection, the practice has sculpted her to the best shape of her life and with the incorporation of the Pilates principals she found the method to be an amazing accompaniment to her daily activities, not only making her strong, lean and healthy, she feels lighter on her toes and her body is no longer stiff and now moving with the fluidity like she once did as a dancer.. Because of this intense connection for the method she felt destined to share her bliss and to help others find a similar rhythm in life. Diving head first into a Full certification training program under Amy Cady with the Balanced Body Repertoire in 2013 was one of the most amazing journeys. She has found herself forever inspired and changed– and encourages one to challenge themselves daily.- ” Change is the greatest gift we can receive as it inspires us to consistently grow and become a better version of ourselves”.- Therefore you will find her classes creative and always adding some new moves to help challenge and change your body, mind and spirit. Not only is Pilates great for staying fit she loves the fact that Pilates also has wonderful rehabilitation benefits for injuries, and can assist in injury Rehabilitation programs because Pilates is adaptable to your personal needs and goals we can make the workout as intense or as gentle as you require- her motto “Always listen to your body and what it needs” .

Cory grew up right here in South Orange County where fitness is a way of life. “I have always incorporated some form of fitness in to my daily routine” – Cory decided to take on the fitness industry in 2010 after both of her kids entered school full time. Cory’s first stop in her fitness journey was obtaining her certification as an Indoor Cycling instructor. Shortly thereafter, Cory attended the Body Arts and Science Institute and in 2012 completed her Intermediate/Advanced Pilates Certification.
Joseph Pilates believed that his method of Pilates should be regarded as a “way of life and total path to health”, rather than merely just a series of exercises. I happen to embrace his belief! I enjoy working with clients at all levels, from the young athlete to the more mature client. I tailor my Private classes to the clients needs and I like to keep my Group classes fresh and exciting! I feel that exercising is a MIND, BODY, SOUL experience. Exercise should be a life long process for all and not just a daily regimen!
